NW AIFD chapter invites you to Mt Eden’s Customer appreciation Day followed by a Sustainable Floral Art Demo presented by Trish Nishikawa, AIFD and Olga Savchenko, AIFD. After you have made your designs~ a delicious lunch provided by Obo Raman!

  • Trish Nishikawa, AIFD

    Trish Nishikawa AIFD is an award winning floral designer, based out of San Jose, California. Her designs have been featured at the San Francisco De Young Museum’s yearly “Bouquets to Art” exhibit and Fleur de Villes floral fashion exhibits where she has won the award for the most original design of show. This past July, Trish was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers, an elite group of the top 1000 florists in the United States and had the honor of presenting a mainstage program at AIFD Symposium. Currently she is working on her first children’s book which combines her love of flowers with her Japanese American heritage.


  • Olga Savchenko, AIFD

    Originally from Ukraine, Olha Savchenko AIFD left her role as a retail CEO in 2017 to pursue her passion for floral design. After receiving professional training in European floristry, she continued her journey in the U.S., launching Dragonfly Floristic in 2020.

    Her work has been featured at Bouquets to Art at the De Young Museum (2022–2024) and the international flower show Fleurs de Villes in San Jose (2025). A winner of the 2023 Bay Area Professional Floral Designer competition and a certified member of AIFD, Olha is known for transforming flowers into contemporary floral art.

    She has studied under world-renowned designers, including World Cup winners Per Benjamin, Bart Hassam, and Peters Nicolaus, as well as Gregor Lersch, Elly Lin, Hiroto Fukunaga (“Funny”), and Max van de Sluis.

    Since 2023, she has also shared her passion through engaging floral workshops at her studio in downtown Los Altos, California.
